You’ll get to experience the thrill of crossing the Nile River and marvel at the beauty of Kaluma Falls before heading to Gulu town for the night. We take a pause in Gulu town to ease the journey ahead to Kidepo Valley National Park.

Day 4: Game drive in Narus and Hotsprings visit in Kidepo Valley
After enjoying breakfast, set off towards Narus Valley for an additional game drive, giving you the chance to spot any wildlife you might have overlooked during the previous two drives. Kidepo Valley National Park is truly amazing, and you won’t regret visiting it. The park features observation points equipped with binoculars, inviting you to enjoy the experience of using one. Head back to the Lodge for a delightful lunch, enjoy a brief moment of relaxation, and then embark on a drive to Kidepo Valley. There, you’ll have the chance to explore the hot springs, visit the Uganda-Sudan border, and, if fortune smiles upon you, catch a glimpse of the majestic giant ostriches that inhabit this area, despite the challenges they face from poaching. During certain times of the year, the rivers on this side can swell, so if the rains come, be prepared for a few hours of unexpected delays. Head back to the lodge for a cozy night’s rest.

Make your way back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your international departure flight from Uganda.
