Day 1: Begin your 5 Day Ishasha tree climbing lions and Kazinga channel Safari

In the early morning, you’ll be picked up from your lodge and set off on an exciting drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon Kazinga Boat cruise

The Kasenyi plains are home to a variety of wild animals, and whether you spot them often comes down to the luck of the day. On a perfect day, you might catch a glimpse of majestic big cats such as lions and leopards on the prowl, alongside herds of buffaloes, elephants, various antelopes, warthogs, and a host of other small mammals. Head back to the lodge for a delightful lunch before embarking on a scenic drive to Mweya Peninsula, where you can enjoy a two-hour boat cruise along the beautiful Kazinga Channel. Kazinga Channel is a vibrant haven, boasting the largest gathering of hippos on the planet, alongside more than 400 species of water birds. It’s a lively spot where a multitude of animals come together to quench their thirst. You’ll likely encounter hippos, birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and a whole lot more. Head back to your cozy lodge for a delightful dinner and a restful night ahead.

Day 3: Game drives and Community experience in Ishasha

Savor your lunch, then embark on a journey to the Ishasha community uplift project, where you can witness the beautiful balance between the local community and the wildlife that surrounds them. You’ll have the chance to meet a welcoming family who will guide you through their methods of protecting their crops and livestock from wildlife. They’ll share the challenges they encounter and highlight the opportunities that exist for both the community and the conservation of wildlife. Head back to the Lodge for a cozy dinner and a restful night.
