At Rwenjeru campsite, the local community, primarily made up of cattle keepers, will greet you with warm hospitality. They’ll guide you through their daily routines, showcasing everything from raising cattle to watering them, milking, and a whole lot more. They’ll share with you their beloved tales of pastoral life and the renowned Ankole long-horned cattle. Next, you’ll head to the Igongo cultural center, often known as the Igongo Cultural museum, for a delightful lunch featuring traditional dishes. After your lunch, you’ll embark on a journey through the Igongo Museum, where you’ll discover the fascinating stories behind the various ethnographic collections on display.
