Based on your preferences and the amount of time you have available, your driver guide will help you choose which gorilla family to see. Once you’ve made your decision, you’ll be assigned armed ranger guides to escort you through the dense undergrowth and creepers on your hike to see the gorillas. This hike’s duration might range from thirty minutes to three quarters of a day, all depending on where the gorilla family you’re visiting is located. Tourists can make their way through the densely wooded terrain thanks to the many animal tracks that wind their way across the steep terrain. Upon locating them, you will get the opportunity to spend an hour capturing photographs and learning about the way of life of these mountain gorilla families. Afterwards, you’ll be escorted back to the lodge by your driver guide at the park headquarters. It is an incredible experience to be around these stunning, endangered creatures.
