Day 01: Pick up from Kampala/Entebb and Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Early in the morning, set out from Entebbe or Kampala. Either drive (approximately nine to ten hours) or fly domestically to Kisoro Airstrip (about one and a half hour. Afternoon: Should you be flying, you will be driven from Kisoro Airstrip to your lodge close to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. If you are driving, savor the picturesque journey throughout Ugandan countryside. In evening, arrive at your lodge and register. Dinner including an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Early morning: After an early breakfast, visit the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking policy and guideline session. Beginning the gorilla trip with seasoned trackers and guides will help. Depending on where the gorillas live, the hike can last anywhere between two and eight hours.
Once you locate the mountain gorillas, spend up to one hour monitoring their activity and snapping pictures late in morning to afternoon. Go back to the park offices to pick up your Gorilla Trekking certificate as memento for a great gorilla walk. Late lunch at your lodge will be enjoyed in afternoon. After the hike, recover and relax; then, go a little nature walk around the lodge.
Evening: dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 3: Return to Entebbe
Morning: Start your return trip to Entebbe after breakfast. Should one is driving, the journey will last a whole day. Should you be flying, land at Kisoro Airstrip to return to Entebbe.
