DAY 1: Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park, in northern Rwanda, is the destination you may expect after being greeted by an agent from Experiya Tour Company upon your arrival. Make it to your lodge in plenty of time for supper and an overnight stay after this scenic drive over terraced hills and winding roads.

DAY 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Before setting out on your thrilling morning journey to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters, where you will begin your walk into the indigenous forest in search of the gorillas, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge. Immerse yourself in the strange and intimate rain-forest on this trek. Hear the chatter of the rare golden monkey, see the fresh spoor of mountain elusive populations of buffalo and elephant, and hear the live calls of colorful birds. DAY 3: Back to Kigali for a city tour
You will next travel to Kigali for a city tour, where you may see local markets, take a driving tour of the city, and stop by the Kigali Memorial Genocide Center to learn more about the global and Rwandan genocides, all while the memories of your gorilla trekking adventure are still fresh in your mind.

DAY 4: Visit to Kings’ Palace and Butale National Museum
Your tour of Rwanda’s Kings’ Palace will begin with an early breakfast before you head to the Butale district. After a fascinating journey through Rwandan history, culture, and royalty (beginning with the first king and ending with the last), you’ll get the opportunity to explore the National Museum. Then, it’s back to Kigali for an overnight stay.
