DAY 1: Arrival and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park.

When you arrive, a knowledgeable tour guide will be there to greet you and show you around Kigali and the surrounding area to give you a feel for this beautiful land of a thousand hills. We will drive you to Nyungwe for the night after this expedition.

DAY 2: Chimpanzee trekking or Canopy walk in Nyungwe

You will be driven to the headquarters of Nyungwe jungle National Park for a briefing after breakfast. Following that, you will go chimpanzee trekking in the jungle. You will need to get up early in the morning if you want to have a chance of seeing chimpanzees at Nyungwe Forest National Park because they are semi-habituated. Also, if you’re up for an adventure, there’s the canopy walk, which takes you throughout the forest to see different kinds of monkeys and birds. Stop back at the lodge for the night.

DAY 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

DAY 4: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park

DAY 5: To Kigali
