Following this tour, you will head to Virunga National Park in the North of Ruhengeri across undulating, exquisite terraced hills that clearly depict Rwanda’s general terrain and elevation.

DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Drive back to Kigali
Breakfast at the lodge early in the morning; then, you will start your fascinating morning drive to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters to start your journey into the native forest in quest of the Gorillas. This walk allows you to enter the unusual but intimate section of the rain-forest where you will hear live calls of vibrant birds, chattering of the rare golden monkey, as well as the forest loaded with fresh spoor of the mountain elusive populations of buffalo and elephant. To finish the journey, you will come out of the jungle and drive back to Kigali.
