It is also home to many bird species like thick-billed honey guides, ostriches, dusky turtle doves, white-headed buffalo-weavers, eastern bronze-napped pigeons, black-throated wattle-eyes, lemon doves, grey cuckoo-shrikes, Hartlaub’s turacos, African hill babblers, mountain yellow-warbler, alpine chats, and Jackson’s hornbills.
