Entrance fees for Murchison Falls National Park in 2025-2026; Murchison Falls National Park is the largest and among the most frequented national parks in Uganda. Murchison Falls National Park harbors a diverse array of wildlife species, including buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, oribi, hippos, Nile crocodiles, hyenas, and various primates such as chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, and olive baboons, as well as over 450 avian species. Park entrance fees are the charges imposed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) on all visitors aged five years and older for access to Murchison Falls National Park and participation in various activities such as game drives, boat cruises to the base of the falls, sport fishing, viewing from the top of the falls, Nile Delta boat cruises, chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest, and nature walks, among others.
A park entrance ticket is valid for twenty-four hours from the moment of entry, and any additional time spent in the park beyond this period will incur a charge for an extra day. All visitors must provide acceptable identification to verify residency and a Covid-19 vaccination card. Entrance costs are separate from package activities such as chimpanzee trekking, bird watching, and nature walks. Children are individuals aged 5 to 15 years, while those under 5 years are excluded.
Grown individuals
Foreign non-residents are charged 45 USD per individual, foreign residents 35 USD per individual, and East African citizens 25,000 UGX per individual.
Minors
Foreign non-residents are assessed a fee of 25 USD per kid, foreign residents are charged 15 USD per child, and East African citizens incur a cost of 10,000 UGX every child.

Entry to Murchison Falls National Park incurs an additional fee of USD 10 for foreign-registered vehicles and 10,000 UGX for Ugandan-registered vehicles. Rescue vehicles will incur charges equivalent to those of other vehicles based on their categorization.
